Membership shows that you are committed to and in agreement with The Falls Church Anglican's mission, ministry, and community. As a member you are eligible to: Participate in the community of worshipAnswer any call for serving or leading extended by TFCAVote in local meetings and Vestry electionsMEMBERSHIP PROCESSThe first step towards membership is declaring your Christian Baptism. If you have been baptized in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, complete our Baptism Declaration Form to become a member.If you have not been baptized, and we encourage you to do so, please contact Donna Wills, Baptism Coordinator, for more information! If you do have a formal baptismal certificate you can scan it to email@example.com or mail it to the church, attention: Stephanie.Once your information has been received, you will be recorded as an Active Baptized voting member of TFCA. If you hold voting membership at another church, regardless of denomination, please fill out the Transfer-In Form. As a courtesy, our Database Administrator will send a letter to your former church requesting that you be removed from their voting roster and that you have claimed voting membership at TFCA. If you did not hold membership elsewhere, no action needed.The final step towards completing membership is to be trained and interviewed by TFCA staff, then participate in the Confirmation service with the bishop. This process, when completed, identifies you a Confirmed Communicant member of TFCA, granting you eligibility to serve in various capacities for worship, teaching, leading, or to stand for Vestry election , plus fully identifies you as an Anglican Christian, recognized by our DOMA diocese and the wider Anglican body around the world.
