Welcome to the healing prayer ministry at TFC Anglican! There are numerous weekly and monthly opportunities to receive healing prayer from our trained prayer teams. Classes, Conferences, and Workshops also are available for those wishing to learn more about this amazing and wonderful ministry!
Prayer at the Rail (PAR): Following the scheduled Sunday morning services, prayer teams are available to pray confidentially with you at the communion rail.
Phone-In Confidential Prayer: Call 571-282-0220 and 571-282-0221 to leave prayer requests in a confidential message box. A prayer team will pray daily for two weeks for individuals, and daily for a month for marriages. For continued prayer, please resubmit your request. Weekly Tuesday Afternoon Prayer (TAP): For those seeking physical or inner healing, for broken relationships, family issues, forgiveness work and other type of healing. Confidential healing prayer by experienced lay ministry teams, in half hour increments. Call the church office receptionist a few days ahead at 571-282-0100 to reserve a half-hour session with a prayer team. When you arrive on Tuesday, sign in with the Columbia Baptist church receptionist and be prayed for by two lay ministers for up to 25 minutes.
Time: Tuesdays 1:30-4:00pm; (prayer sessions end at 4:00pm)
Location: Columbia Baptist Church, room 203
Dates available in 2013: Every Tuesday afternoon from January 8 thru December 17, 2013; except not scheduled on Jan 1, Dec 24 or 31, 2013.
Monthly Evenings of Healing Prayer (EHP): Receive one hour of individual prayer from a specially trained prayer team. We have seen many wonderful healings from this type of prayer. If you would like prayer for physical healing, inner healing, or any other need, please contact Chuck Cook at 703-354-5469 or ccook04@verizon.net to schedule either a 7:00-8:00 pm or 8:00-9:00 pm segment. Spaces are limited; a reservation in advance is required.
LOCATION: Columbia Baptist Church, room 229
TIME: One hour on the third Tuesday of the month at either 7:00-8:00 pm or 8:00-9:00 pm
DATES AVAILABLE IN 2013: Jan 15, Feb 19, Mar 19, Apr 16, May 21, Jun 18, not in July and Aug, Sep 17, Oct 15, Nov 12, Dec 10.
Individual Long-Term Intensive Prayer (IPM): Assists those who desire long-term prayer ministry for issues related to inner healing, healing of memories, forgiveness, generational healing, release from the occult, broken relationships, besetting sins or other problems. Supplicants are referred to a trained team of two prayer ministers, who meet privately for up to a half dozen prayer sessions. Total confidentiality is maintained. (There usually is a waiting list.) An application, including a pre-interview, is required. For information on applying to receive individual long-term intensive prayer, contact Chuck Cook at 703-354-5469 or ccook04@verizon.net.
Monthly Tuesday Evening of Silent Soaking Prayer (ESSP): If you find it hard to set aside periods of time to listen to the Lord or to hear Him in Holy Silence, silent soaking prayer may be for you. Monthly Sunday Healing Service (SHS): This Service Includes singing, teaching, a time for testimonies and individual prayer for anyone wishing it by trained TFC Anglican prayer teams, with laying on of hands and anointing with oil. Sunday Morning Healing Prayer Hour: This is an opportunity for individual Healing Prayer, no appointment necessary. Bishop O'Connell High School, room 116, 11am-12:30pm, until June 9, 2013. It will resume on September 15th.
