Membership
We encourage all who consider The Falls Church Anglican to be their home parish to become official members of the church.  We prepare for membership in our course Anglican Essentials/Membership & Confirmation Prep.  In this class, you will be trained in our Christian faith, our Anglican worship and history, and have opportunities to know some clergy members and others in the class.  After preparation, you will participate in the special service with our bishop and be confirmed.  The next Confirmation services will be on Sunday, May 5, 2013.

Church membership is important for many reasons.
  • Membership shows that you take the local church seriously and you are willing to be committed to The Falls Church Anglican
  • Membership/Confirmation gives you the opportunity to affirm your faith in Christ as an adult 
  • Membership allows full availabilty to answer any call for serving or leading in the church
  • Membership is a statement that you are in agreement with and a representative of the church
  • Membership is an indication that you are willing to be under the authority of the church
  • Membership allows full participation in the community of faith
  • Membership is required
    • To vote on important church decisions
    • To hold certain leadership positions within the church
    • To fill certain roles in the life of the church
