DESCRIPTION:This year’s Spring Retreat invites you to be challenged and inspired by Dr. Joel Woodruff\, President of the C.S. Lewis Institute\, as he addresses a timely and personal theme: Leaving a godly Spiritual Legacy for the Next Generation. Whether you have nieces or nephews\, cousins\, godchildren\, grandchildren\, or younger people looking to your life for guidance\, Scripture and experience agree: faith is most powerfully passed on through relationships\, example\, and deliberate investment. This retreat will help you do exactly that. \n\n\n\nStep away from the noise and demands of everyday life and re center your heart in God’s presence amid the breathtaking beauty of West Virginia. Time immersed in creation has a proven way of restoring clarity\, renewing faith\, and creating space to hear God more clearly. Please reach out for assistance.\n\n\n\nREGISTER HERE\n\n\n\nSpeaker Dr. Joel Woodruff: Leaving a Spiritual Legacy for the Next Generation\n\n\n\n\nJoel Woodruff\, President\, C.S. Lewis Institute\, has worked in higher education\, “tent-making\,” nonprofit administration\, and pastoral ministries in Alaska\, Israel\, Hungary\, France\, and Northern Virginia. He served as Dean of Students\, Chaplain\, and Professor of Bible &amp\; Theology at European Bible Institute\, where he helped train Europeans both for professional ministry and to be Christian leaders in the marketplace. Prior to joining the Institute\, he was on the leadership team of Oakwood Services International\, a nonprofit educational and humanitarian organization. He is a graduate of Wheaton College\, earned his M.Div. from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary\, and has a doctorate in Organizational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University. As a Parish-Pulpit Fellow\, he studied Biblical Backgrounds &amp\; Archaeology in Israel for a year.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nJoel began his service at CSLI in 2011 as VP for Discipleship and became President in 2015. He is a graduate of Wheaton College\, Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and has a doctorate from Nova Southeastern University
