DESCRIPTION:New Vestry Election Dates: November&nbsp\;8-15&nbsp\;\n\n\n\nThe Vestry election\, our church’s lay (volunteer) leadership body\, will take place the week of November&nbsp\;8\, 2026. The new vestry will be installed in January 2027. All eligible voters are encouraged to&nbsp\;participate&nbsp\;in the election!&nbsp\;&nbsp\;\n\n\n\nHow do I nominate a candidate?&nbsp\;\n\n\n\nIf you would like to nominate a candidate\, please contact the Vestry Nomination and Election Committee at&nbsp\;vnec@tfcanglican.org&nbsp\;by Sunday\, September&nbsp\;6. Please keep your nominations confidential\, as nominees’ qualifications (e.g.\, must be a member and confirmed\, regularly attend Sunday worship services\, and financially support the body) must be verified.&nbsp\;\n\n\n\nWho is Eligible to Vote? \n\n\n\nAn eligible voter is defined as one who is: \n\n\n\n\nA member of TFCA (with proof of baptism on file) 1&nbsp\;\n\n\n\n\n\nNot a member of another church&nbsp\;&nbsp\;\n\n\n\n\n\nAt least 16&nbsp\;years old 2&nbsp\;\n\n\n\n\n\nKnown as a regular worshipper at TFCA.&nbsp\;\n\n\n\n\n\nKnown as a regular contributor to TFCA 3&nbsp\;\n\n\n\n\nParishioners who meet these requirements will receive an email by October 23\,&nbsp\;2026\,&nbsp\;confirming they are registered as eligible voters. If you have questions about eligibility\, please contact the Vestry Nominations &amp\; Elections Committee at&nbsp\;vnec@tfcanglican.org.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;\n\n\n\n1. As of May 2022\, new members must complete the Church’s membership and confirmation class.&nbsp\;\n\n\n\n2. 16-18-year-olds who are part of a contributing household do not need to make individual contributions.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;\n\n\n\na. Members 19+ are expected to make at least one contribution of any amount\,&nbsp\;in order to&nbsp\;be eligible to vote.&nbsp\;\n\n\n\n3. A regular contributor makes a financial gift of any amount to the Church’s operating fund or debt reduction fund during the 12-month period preceding the Vestry Election.&nbsp\;\n\n\n\na. To be eligible to vote in November 2026\, a financial gift must be received between October 1\, 2025&nbsp\;– September 30\, 2026.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;\n\n\n\nb. Cash contributions should be placed in an envelope with the member’s name so they can be appropriately recorded.&nbsp\;
