Praying for Others: Creating a Lifestyle of Prayer

Learn how to pray more effectively for your family, friends, and the things that concern you. Join Lesley Hackman and Scott Thompson for a dynamic training in intercessory prayer. Whether you are new to intercession or have been praying for years, this workshop will equip and encourage you in cultivating a lifestyle of prayer.

At the event, an optional resource referenced throughout the day, Praying For Others: An Intercessory Prayer Manual, will be available for purchase at $20.

Workshop Speakers:

Lesley Hackman is a sought-after seminar and retreat speaker who leads the Intercessory Prayer Ministry at TFCA. She is the coauthor of Walking the Path of an Intercessor and Stumbling Stones on the Path of an Intercessor. Lesley serves as Spiritual/Prayer Director on the Anglicans For Life Board and as Vice-President of the National Children’s Prayer Congress (NCPC). Through NCPC, she co-developed the teaching series Your Family Legacy of Prayer and co-authored three children’s books focusing on Christ’s character and the power of prayer.

Scott Thompson is well-experienced in both the practice and teaching of prayer ministry. He leads Evening of Healing Prayer at TFCA and serves as both a healing and intercessory prayer minister. Scott has led prayer ministry workshops and missions both in the U.S. and internationally. He has a special interest in trauma healing and has ministered in East African communities impacted by war and terrorism. He is the coauthor of Walking the Path of an Intercessor and serves on the Board of Directors of the Christian Healing Institute.
