Fall 2025 Membership and Confirmation Class

This course is for adults who desire to make a deeper commitment to this body of Christ through Voting Membership, to join the wider Anglican Communion through Confirmation, or to simply learn more about The Falls Church Anglican: who we are, what we believe, and what it means to be Anglican.

The following topics will be covered:
• The Church: Our New Community
• The Faith: Our New Hope
• The Anglican Way: Our Ancient Roots
• The Christian Life Today: Our Vision and Mission

For those wishing to pursue official Membership and/or Confirmation, attendance at all classes is required. (In the event of illness or unavoidable conflict, ONE class can be made up by listening to an audio recording.)

Other steps include:
• Completing our Membership Application and Statement of Faith (Please prepare to submit baptism and confirmation records if applicable.)
• Meeting with a pastor
• Affirming our Membership Covenant

This class not only prepares you to officially join our church through membership, but also to have the option to participate in our Confirmation service to be formally welcomed into the Anglican church body by The Rt. Rev. Christopher Warner, Bishop of the Diocese of the Mid-Atlantic.

If you’ve been attending the church for some time now and are ready to explore deeper involvement, we hope you’ll join us in the Ministry Center for this 4-week course beginning Wednesday, September 24. The Ministry Center is located on the Concourse (basement level) of the office building at 6565 Arlington Blvd.

Limited childcare is available for children ages 0-11 years. Please register child/ren by Friday, September 19. (Follow instructions provided in the Membership Class registration.)
