The Details

Our July 10th healing service will be focused on Mother and Father Blessing, with a time of teaching followed by an opportunity to receive a Mother and/or Father Blessing from our trained prayer ministers, as well as an opportunity to receive prayer for any other needs.

The speaker will be the Rev. Rob Krech, a priest in the Diocese of the Mid-Atlantic with a full-time day job, who lives in Alexandria with his family.

In a Mother and Father Blessing time of ministry, the Lord works through prayer ministers to provide what was lacking in terms of blessing from our earthly mothers and fathers, and to minister healing to us showing us who we truly are in Him, His beloved sons and daughters.

None of us had perfect parents, nor are we perfect parents. Many of us carry burdens we were not meant to bear, arising from our childhood or adult relationship with our parents. Jesus came to heal us and make us whole; God’s intention is that each child (and adult) should receive a holy blessing from their parents.  During a Mother and Father Blessing ministry time, He is doing just that, removing burdens and hurts which impact our image of God and our relationship with Him. We hear many stories of healing and transformation through this simple act of blessing.
