Saturday AM Women’s Ministry Bible Study

Tuning our Ears to the Lord: 

God desires deeper connection with us. He longs to be known by each of us — as intimately as He knows us — we who He made in His image. If you long to build greater connection with the Lord, to develop regular two-way prayer time involving both you talking to God and listening to Him as He talks to you, come join us. We will review scriptural bases for discerning the Lord’s voice as well as review and practice ancient Christian spiritual disciplines the Lord can use to tune our ears to hear Him with confidence and assurance in alignment with scripture, including lectio divina (Latin for “divine reading”), daily examen, and breath prayers.

• When: Saturday, Sept. 12 – Nov. 21, 2026
• Time: 9:30-11:30 a.m. in Learning Center Room 110  
• What: Teaching, discussion and prayer
• Study led by June Johnson 
• Study materials will be provided.
• No childcare provided.

More About June:  June joined The Falls Church Anglican in 2021 and greatly enjoys teaching the Bible, serving with TFCA’s prayer ministry, and meeting with others to give and receive spiritual direction. June and her husband Jamie of 31 years have two adult daughters.  At work, she manages the Eurasia & Russia mission for NGA, a combat support agency under the Department of War. In her free time, she enjoys singing, hiking, cooking, and being at the beach or the mountains with her family.
