What Does Jesus Have to Say About____?

In a divided society enmeshed in seemingly endless culture wars, followers of Jesus often feel like we have only two options: silence or shouting. We worry that by speaking up our words could cause further chaos in an already deeply conflicted world—and so we remain silent. Or, we fear that by remaining silent we might unintentionally signal approval of the many evils in the world—and so we shout. 

But when it comes to the most significant spiritual and moral crises of our day might not the Gospel call us to something more? What if we could learn from Jesus not merely what to say, but how to say it? And what if this Christlike engagement proved to be a catalyst for healing, civility, grace, hope, and truth in our deeply unstable world? In this five-week series of public forums, Rev. Dr. John Frederick will engage in live, in-person dialogues with Christian leaders from across the Metro-DC region to discuss what Jesus has to say about: culture, violence, other religions, speech, and politics.
