The Details

Join us for a fall hike of the beautiful Huntley Meadows Park in Alexandria. Our total hike time will be around 2½–3 hours, and it is an easy to moderate level hike.

Please note: Please click here to fill out a liability form, required by TFCA, and bring the form with you.

Two travel options to choose from:

  • Drive with other hikers leaving TFCA at 8:15 am. Meet in the rear parking lot no later than 8:15 am.
  • Drive on your own to the park’s Norma Hoffman Visitor Center at 3701 Lockheed Blvd, Alexandria, VA 22306, arriving no later than 9:00 am.

What you’ll need:

  • Hiking boots or sturdy shoes
  • Water!
  • Binoculars for bird watching
  • Bug spray/repellent
  • Snacks (optional)
  • Backpack to carry your things, phone, etc.
  • Hiking poles (not required)
