Youth Ministry Intern

The summer internship lasts approximately 10 weeks from May 26 to August 9, with the expectation of a one week unpaid vacation taken with approval from the Director of Youth Ministry. The positions are open to all college-aged students who are already in a deep, personal relationship with Christ and are excited to serve youth and come alongside them in their walk with Christ. Our model is to connect interns to students, discipling the interns so as their own faith is enriched, they pull the students with whom they have connected, into closer intimacy with Jesus. Those who live far away from the Falls Church area are encouraged to apply and should note that housing with church members is often available (though not guaranteed) for the duration of the summer without cost (however, your own transportation is essential). 

Youth interns are expected to dive fully into connecting with students through events, meals, and programs. Please note that, in addition to their individual focus of ministry, summer interns will be also be expected to engage with the youth ministry as well as the church body as a whole with events such as Vacation Bible School for children.
