Congregational Care & Community

Serve at The Falls Church Anglican

At some point, every one of us walks through seasons of pain, transition, or uncertainty. In those moments, the Church has a chance to be what it was always meant to be—a living body, not just a Sunday gathering. That’s where Congregational Care comes in. This ministry exists to embody the heart of Jesus through presence, prayer, and practical love. When someone is sick, grieving, overwhelmed, or simply needs someone to walk with them—we show up. We bring meals. We send notes. We pray. We listen. We remind people they are not alone. Jesus said, “Love one another as I have loved you” (John 15:12). That’s not just a suggestion—it’s a commission. And we believe that love looks like paying attention, offering comfort, and stepping in where others might step away. If you have a heart to serve others in quiet but powerful ways, we invite you to join us. Whether it’s through hospital visits, meal trains, prayer calls, or simply writing a card at the right time, your gifts can make a real difference in someone’s life.
