


The Falls Church Anglican Worship Ministry is a community of worship volunteers who seek to glorify God and lead God’s people in joyful, reverent, and sincere worship. Using their unique gifts and abilities, these volunteers have a desire to support the corporate worship of God’s people during our three Sunday services, special events and more.
Acolyte
Assist Clergy and Vergers in worship services (6th–12th grades).
Altar Guild
Prepare elements and the Holy Table for Communion; prepare elements for Baptism.
Audio Assistants, Mixers, Engineers
Help with sound and service production: placing microphones, running sound, setting up equipment.
Band
Serve on worship band to help lead in contemporary worship contexts.
Camera Operator
Operate remote cameras/video switcher/tripod to provide consistent, engaging video feed.
Classical Instrument
Play a classical instrument (brass, strings, woodwinds, etc.) in the 9 a.m. service.
Flower Guild
Prepare flower arrangements for worship services.
Graphics Operator
Trigger display of text, graphics, cues, and prerecords to enable congregational participation.
Lighting Operator
Activate lighting settings and presets at appropriate moments during services/events.
Platform Tech
Assist with microphone placement and staging changes.
Singer for Adult Choir
Sing with the Adult Choir (rehearsals Thursdays; serve Sundays; extra services during Christmas/Holy Week).
Singer for Messiah Sing-along: Adult Choir
Join Adult Choir to sing Handel’s Messiah (Dec 6 and Dec 7, 2025 at 9 a.m.).
String Ensemble
Use gifts on violin, viola, or cello to bless services.
Usher
Serve with hospitality by assisting at worship services (greeting, guiding, helping all feel safe and at home).
