Our desire at TFCA Youth Ministry is to Belong Like Family, Behold Jesus, and Become His Disciples. We offer programming every Sunday evening, weekly Bible studies prior to the school day, special events, and trips throughout the year.

  • Bible Breakfast Leaders

    Plan and lead a weekly Bible lesson and discussion with a small group before or after school; may include driving students.

  • Youth Family Small Group Leader

    Co-lead a Sunday evening small group; invest in students beyond Sundays; attend retreats and biweekly leader trainings.

  • Youth Ministry Volunteer Team

    Pool of 10–15 parents/volunteers available for various events throughout the year.

  • Youth Prayer Team P4T (Praying for Teens) and P4T Co-leader

    Pray daily over students and Youth Ministry; co-leaders develop prayer calendars and communicate with team.

Youth Ministry

Bible Breakfast Leaders

Description:
Plan and lead a weekly Bible lesson and discussion with a small group before or after school; may include driving students.
Skills Needed:
Heart for teaching students; basic biblical knowledge.
Training:
DOMA Child Safety Training.
Time Commitment:
One day/week for ~1 hour; times vary by school/location (public spaces only).
Membership Status:
Active congregant at least six months.
Commitment Duration:
1 school year

Youth Family Small Group Leader

Description:
Co-lead a Sunday evening small group; invest in students beyond Sundays; attend retreats and biweekly leader trainings.
Skills Needed:
Willing, teachable, loves Jesus; time to invest fully.
Training:
DOMA Child Safety; Youth Family Training; retreats; biweekly leader meetings.
Time Commitment:
Sundays 4:30–7:00 p.m.; Leader Tuesdays (biweekly) 7:00–8:30 p.m.; plus retreats (seasonal dates).
Membership Status:
Active congregant at least six months.
Commitment Duration:
Minimum 1 year (2 years preferred)

Youth Ministry Volunteer Team

Description:
Pool of 10–15 parents/volunteers available for various events throughout the year.
Training:
DOMA Child Safety Training; Parent/Volunteer meetings.
Time Commitment:
Sundays 4:45–7:00 p.m.; meetings once/semester (TBD).
Membership Status:
Active congregant.
Commitment Duration:
Occasionally throughout the year
