Brazil Adult & Family Mission Trip

2026 Adult and Family Trip to Joao Pessoa, Brazil   

When: July 31st-August 9th  
Where: Joao Pessoa, Brazil 
Who is invited: Adults, Families 
Why: Jesus commissions us to share the good news of the gospel and make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:18-20). This begins in our communities and expands all over the world. We desire to support, encourage, and uplift the ministries of the global Church while also humbly learning from the faith of our brothers and sisters in Christ globally.

The aim of short term missions is to accomplish two things:

1. it reminds us that fulfilling the great commission is an essential part of our spiritual formation, and
2. it connects us to the global Church, teaching us of a missional God who desires that all nations would know Him. 

What: A week-long trip to work alongside the Anglican Diocese of Joao Pessoa, Brazil. We’ll partner with local churches and their outreach projects, specifically The Compassion Project (Project – Brazil 2023 — The Anglican Relief and Development Fund) which actively invites children from the neighborhood to join their programs as a way of introducing the gospel to them. We’ll support in hosting a Vacation Bible School (VBS), desiring to further engage and connect kids to the local church programs. This trip is for adults and families who desire to serve and love others cross-culturally, develop a heart for outreach and missions, and grow in their own faith by using their God-given gifts to serve and love others.
