The following prayer requests are designed to help facilitate our small-group time of prayer.
1. YoungLife
Vida Joven, YoungLives, Capernaum, YoungLife Camp
John 1:14 ; 1 Thessalonians 2:8
Pray for the Lord to bring new volunteer leaders enabling the Gospel to go forth into the schools through the relationships they will build with students
Pray that the Lord will draw students to follow Him and encourage them to invite their friends to come and see.
Praise God for the growth of all Eastern Fairfax YoungLife ministries and pray for the provision of financial support to support the growth.
2. TFCA Falls Church High School Ministry
Mathew. 5:14-16
Volunteers from TFCA helping in the ESOL classrooms at Falls Church High School and on Wednesday afternoons mentoring a group of seniors in their college-going process.
There would be a new movement of God’s Spirit at Falls Church High School (FCHS) and that TFCA volunteers would be a part of the Spirit’s work to glorify God.
TFCA volunteers would shine the light of Christ and be guided and equipped to serve well and build positive relationships with students, teachers, administrators, and staff.
Students in the College Prep program would be known, loved, and well-prepared to take the next step to meet their higher ed and financial support goals and would be drawn to Christ.
God would raise up more classroom volunteers to serve teachers who have requested assistance.
