Compiled and composed in the mid-16th century by Archbishop Thomas Cranmer, the Book of Common Prayer has shaped the spirituality of Western Christians for centuries. We baptize, worship, pray, marry and bury according to the Book of Common Prayer. But did you know that the prayer book is about more than how we worship; it’s about what we believe? It’s not just an order of service; it’s a statement of faith. What we pray shapes what we believe.
Join us for this 5-week class as we discover more about our faith and our Anglican spiritual heritage in the Book of Common Prayer. No readings will be required, and all ages are welcome to attend.
