Not all are called to foster or adopt, but everyone can play a part!
On November 7, we will join thousands of churches worldwide in celebrating the Father’s heart for the fatherless. Join us on our 3rd annual Orphan Sunday, to reflect on God‘s fatherly heart and how we, together as the Church, are invited to reflect that same heart to those who are hurting and alone. In addition to an interview with one of our own foster families during the services, there will be resource stations downstairs including leaders from our TFCA ministry, county foster and adoption representatives, and Jedd Medefind who leads the Christian Alliance for Orphans.
Following the 11 o’clock service, a luncheon and panel discussion will be hosted in the ministry center (in the lower level of the office building).
All are invited to join after visiting the foster and adoption resource tables located in the narthex.
(Walk-ins are also welcome!)
If you are interested in helping with Orphan Sunday and/or the luncheon, contact Ann Thompson.
