Hospitality & Evangelism: A Conversation

  • The Falls Church Anglican 6565 Arlington Blvd, Suite 300 Falls Church, VA (map)

Sunday, January 26th | 5p – 7p | Lower Narthex

The main goal of this event will be to give practical help to those gathered on how to be on mission in their neighborhoods, workplaces and communities.

The evening will be hosted from 5p-7p in the Lower Narthex with dinner being served and seating around circle tables. There will be one MC for the event, with a panel of between 3 or 4 members of the church.

The MC will briefly share 5-10 minutes about why this conversation is needed, how it will help those in attendance, and what it will consist of. Panelists will be provided all questions in advance, but will be expected to contribute as needed on any that pertain to their area of experience or knowledge. The main emphasis is not on book knowledge, but rather on story, experience, and practical help. We are not looking for subject matter expertise, but rather members who practice their gifts in their context.

We will ask for questions to be texted to an address, so that the MC can choose a few questions from the crowd for the end, or during the discussion if it proves helpful.

Topics will be primarily centered around building neighbor friendships, biblical hospitality toward non-christians, involving church community in mission, how to have spiritual conversations, and how to see gospel opportunities.
