Organ Replacement and UPGRADE Project
Preserving Our Musical Heritage
For generations, the organ has played a central role in our worship at The Falls Church Anglican. In 2019, we acquired our current Marshall & Ogletree organ system, which provides the rich, magnificent sound that fills our new sanctuary. The refurbished Rodgers console, while functional at the time of acquisition, has deteriorated more rapidly than anticipated, with component failures increasing significantly in recent months. Our music ministry now faces critical reliability challenges that require immediate attention to ensure the continued quality of our worship experience.
The Challenge We Face
Repairing the pedalboard
Our current 30-year-old Rodgers console, originally intended as an interim solution, has become increasingly unreliable:
Critical failures during worship services
Deteriorating keyboards and pedalboards
Obsolete components no longer manufactured
Expired warranty and growing risk of complete failure
