ONLINE BALLOT LINK & “ELECTIONBUDDY”
There are 10 candidates standing for the five open vestry seats in this election year. The 2024 vestry election will again be conducted through online voting.
On January 26, the online polls will open at 9 a.m. EST and all eligible voting members of The Falls Church Anglican’s congregation will receive an email from “The Falls Church Anglican” containing instructions on how to vote in the election, a link to the ballot, as well as a 16-digit unique voting key, which you will need to enter to be able to vote in the online election. The polls will remain open until 1 p.m. EST on February 2, 2024, giving everyone a full week to vote and time to troubleshoot should problems arise. If you believe you are an eligible voter but you do not receive an email invitation to vote, or have any other questions, please email VNEC@tfcanglican.org.
After you have cast your vote online, you will receive a confirmation email from “ElectionBuddy” which is the voting application that is hosting this online election.
WHO IS ABLE TO VOTE IN THE ELECTION OF VESTRY MEMBERS?
VOTER ELIGIBILITY
Parishioners who meet the requirements below will receive an email on January 17, confirming they are registered as eligible voters. All eligible voters will be contacted via this email.
Eligibility Criteria
In order to vote in the vestry election, please review the following criteria.
You are a member of TFCA and do not hold voting membership at another church, including our daughter or other ACNA churches.
Members must have proof of their baptisms on file with the Church.
As of May 2022, new members are required to complete the Church’s membership or confirmation class.
You are at least 16 years-old.
You are known as a regular worshiper at TFCA.
You are known as a regular contributor to TFCA.
A regular contributor is someone who gives any amount to either the Church’s Operating fund or one of its building-related Capital funds during the calendar year before Vestry Election. Cash gifts must be identifiable with the giver.

What do you do if you believe you meet the eligibility criteria to vote but don’t believe you received an email confirming that? First, check you junk or spam folder within your email client. If you still can’t find an email, contact vnec@tfcanglican.org. You may also stop by the vestry kiosk in the lower narthex before or after the 9am & 11am services on January 19th and 26th.
What do you do if you don’t have access to the Internet and/or an email address? If you are an eligible voter who is unable to access the Internet and/or receive email and need an alternate means to cast your vote, please contact vnec@tfcanglican.org and we can work with you to try and accommodate your situation.
