Tabernacling Years (2012-2018)

“It was seven years before we were able to have another joyous celebration in our own newly built sanctuary just over a mile from the historic church we lost. In the meantime, we were without a permanent place to worship. We rented or were provided worship space in various locations during this time. Rector John Yates humorously told the parishioners and visitors, “Come worship with us if you can find us!” I continued to greet those who found us. Their enthusiastic attitude grew along with the size of our membership as we often added a hundred or more new members with each class of newcomers. They would ask me where to go for Sunday School or how to get more involved in our church when I greeted them. We were ready for a place of our own.”
