  • Description:

    Count and prepare Sunday offering for deposit.

    Skills Needed:

    Attention to detail and confidentiality.

    Training:

    Proper way to batch offerings for deposit.

    Confirmed Member known to Treasurer

    Time Commitment:

    Tuesdays, 10AM - 11:30AM

    Commitment Duration:

    Ongoing - rotational

  • Description:

    Answer the phone and greet visitors to the church office.

    Skills Needed:

    Good oral communication and a pleasant manner.

    Training:

    Simple instruction on directing calls and notifying staff of visitors.

    Active congregant

    Time Commitment:

    When the receptionist has meetings or appointments, or is away from the office

  • Description:

    Serve at special events, i.e., Lemonade on the Lawn, Messiah Singalong, and Cocoa and Carols.

    Skills Needed:

    Gracious hospitality.

    Training:

    Membership Status:

    Active congregant

    Time Commitment:

    When a special event is scheduled, 60-90 minutes.

  • Description:

    Pre-event tasks, day-of registration, set-up, take-down, serve, run errands or pick up purchased/rented items, etc.

    30, 60, or 90 minutes

    Commitment Duration:

    Whenever an event is scheduled.

  • Description:

    Help direct cars within the garage and help parishioners walk safely to their cars.

    Skills Needed:

    A Servant’s heart and joyful spirit.

    Active congregant

    Time Commitment:

    Sundays: 10:20AM-11:05AM, and occasional events.

    Rotational

  • Description:

    Day-of coordination; prepare for wedding party's arrival, prepare the sanctuary with reserved seat signs, readings, bows, and leaflets, guiding wedding participants to their respective locations on time and ensure smooth entrances, put away any items left behind.

    Skills Needed:

    Patience, sincere love of service.

    Wedding etiquette

    Time Commitment:

    A team of three serves at every wedding led by a seasoned, trained partner. The time commitment is approximately 3-3 1/2 hours when a wedding is scheduled.
