Youth Ministry
Our desire at TFCA Youth Ministry is to Belong Like Family, Behold Jesus, and Become His Disciples.
We offer programming every Sunday evening, weekly Bible studies prior to the school day, special events, and trips throughout the year.

Description:
Bible Breakfasts are a time where students go deeper into God’s word and in discipleship. Leaders plan and prepare for each Bible lesson of the week and lead discussions with a small group of guys or girls (at least 2-3 students) for about an hour prior to school. Some driving may occur to help students get to school following breakfast.

Time Commitment:
One morning per week for about one hour. Locations/times vary depending on school location/schedule. If interested, Youth Ministry Staff will help coordinate with volunteer and students (at least 2-3 students) to determine location/time. Locations are always in a public space

Description:
Volunteers who attend Sunday evening Youth Group specifically to be assigned to students with special needs.
Each volunteer would be assigned to a specific student to shadow the student during community time, through transitions, and to sit with the student during small group. (small group leaders will facilitate the group discussions).
This volunteer would also attend special events with students as needed. Ideally, each volunteer would stay with their student throughout the entire year.

Background in working with the special needs population.

Description:
We are looking for leaders who want to invest, mentor, and disciple the rising generation of the Church.
A Youth Family Leader co-leads a small group of students that meet every Sunday night. Youth Family Leaders are committed to developing intentional relationships with their small group students that expands past Sunday nights.
The goal is to meet students where they are by connecting with them throughout the month and attending big events in their lives. We have big youth events, such as Breakaway, that we rely on our Youth Family Leaders to assist in leading.
We are committed to training our Youth Family Leaders well and meet every other Tuesday to hone our skills as youth leaders. Tuesday night trainings also serve as community time for us to grow closer as a team.
Skills Needed:
Willing, teachable, loves Jesus, and have the time.

Ministry Safe Training, Safe Guarding Training, Youth Family Retreat training, bi-weekly training meetings at Youth Family.

Description:
The vision of Praying for Teens (P4T) is to put together a prayer team that commits to pray over students and the Youth Ministry every day, knowing that something always happens when we pray. Prayer guides and calendars will be shared monthly to encourage daily prayer for our students. The co-leader role is to develop prayer calendars and communicate to the prayer team members. We would like to add an annual P4T event where students and P4T members gather to pray.
