I was born and raised in the Philippines in Manila, and come from a small family with one brother and two sisters. Grateful for my parents who worked hard for us to get a good education. When I was a child I dreamed of going to the US and this dream came true in 1984. So I told the Lord I will do anything for Him. And in 1990 I came to faith and was baptized(Galatians 2:20). From day one, He gave me a heart to share Him and I am deeply grateful. Our Lord also gave me a passion for his word during my early years of discipleship.
In 2003 I volunteered at the ESOL at TFCA and met a Turkish woman. I visited her country with her in 2007 and the Lord gave me opportunities to pray for her people. Amazingly saw the answers to prayer. And as I was reading 1 Samuel 14:10, it spoke to me strongly about the Lord’s plan for me to serve that country. It is important to learn from other cultures but the unlearning is more important because it requires emptying one’s self like Jesus did.
Before coming to TFCA I was in a solid Bible teaching fellowship. It was hard for me to leave but TFCA had that sweet aroma of Christ and believed in the gift of healing which I was drawn to. Our Lord used Rev. Yates and Rev. Watkin in this decision process. And I am very humbled and honored to be an ambassador of this God fearing, Spirit led and Christ centered fellowship. (Ephesians 2:19-22)
